
Who is eligible to apply for an individual grant:
Our grants aim to support people when things are generally financially difficult or when they are are facing unexpected financial challenges, perhaps as a result of illness or the loss of a job. We support families, couples and individuals.
We do not make cash grants but can help with the purchase of goods or services through an agreed supplier. To give some examples, we have recently helped with the purchase of essential household goods, such as electrical appliances, flooring and furniture.
As a general rule, applicants must reside in Halesworth, although in some circumstances, we may consider applications from the immediate, surrounding villages.
Individual applications may be made directly to the Charity, using our application form.

2. Grants For Apprentices and Young People in Training
Individual one-off grants are available to young people who are undertaking further education training or an apprenticeship. We can help with the cost of buying clothing, tools, equipment or contribute towards transport expenses. Applicants may apply directly to the Charity, using our application form or through their employment and training advisors.
As a general rule, applicants must reside in Halesworth, although in some circumstances, we may consider applications from the immediate, surrounding villages.
3. Grants for Local Organisations, Charities and Community Groups
Small grants are available to local organisations who directly support families and individuals, facing challenging circumstances. Ideally we are looking for projects that can make a long term positive impact on the health and social wellbeing of community members, who are affected by financial need.
